)Hi Everyone,

Welcome to 2021.  Hope all is going well.   A new year, wonder what it will bring …..

We had a busy Christmas/New Year.  Lots of eating foods which were yum but probably could have gone without, catching up with relatives and friends and enjoying the time away from work commitments.

I must admit it is a bit hard to get moving today, still on holiday mode.

I talked to you about keeping your sacral chakra balanced in December and so I would like to talk to you about your Solar Plexus today.  I am going to give you some information on the Solar Plexus as well as go through the different therapies that I practice and how you can balance your Solar Plexus either by using one therapy at a time or a combination of the different therapies.   The different therapies include Flower Essences, Bowen Therapy, Herbs.

The Solar Plexus is located between the navel and the base of your sternum and is concerned with the development of our self esteem and personal willpower.
Some emotional imbalances of this chakra can be the need to have control, low self esteem, oversensitive to criticism or emotional instability.

Some physical imbalances of this chakra can involve digestive problem, diabetes, skin eruptions or stomach ulcers.

Australian Bush Flower Essences can also help you balance your Solar Plexus.
Some of the flower essences I recommend are Paw Paw (to help you break down new information you are learning),  Crowea (to alleviate worry) and Red Grevillea (if you feel a bit stuck, suffering from constipation, difficulty getting motivated).

The Bowen Therapy moves that can be helpful in balancing your Solar Plexus can include a colon move (helps stimulate your large intestine digestive system),  Psoas (to help release muscles that may have become tight due to sitting for long periods of time e.g. in a car, at a computer) and a Respiratory Move that helps massage the top part of your Colon (part of your digestive system).

Herbs that can help balance the Solar Plexus are St Mary’s Thistle (to improve the health of your liver), Chamomile (to calm your digestion if feeling a bit of turmoil in tummy or life), Cinnamon (to help reduce those sugar cravings which are sometimes present at this time of year) and Ginger (to improve circulation throughout body including digestive area).

Some foods to help restore balance in the Solar Plexus include pineapple, bananas, corn, oats, honey, sunflower seeds, beans and squash.

Enough information to process now ….

Stay safe and have a happy start to 2021.  I will talk to you again in February.

Kind regards,
